Nick completed his Master’s in Business Administration at the Claremont Graduate University with a focus on business strategy. He then decided to join his father and uncle, Doctors Juan and Alejandro Montes respectively, to aid in developing their three-clinic practice.
While functioning as the medical practice administrator, Nick oversaw recruiting and hiring of personnel, employee management and development, contract negotiation, and revenue cycle management. He developed an insurance enrollment and a quality and wellness department to increase HMO panels and ensure proper care delivery to the group’s patients. With his support, the practice has added an additional site and ventured outside of patient care with the development of Montes HealthCare College.
