Phlebotomy Technician

The phlebotomy program prepares our students to pass the certification exam authorized by the California Department of Public Health and to gain employment as an entry-level Certified Phlebotomy Technician I. As a phlebotomist your primary responsibility is to draw blood from patients of all ages according to the clinical provider’s orders while maintaining patient safety and ensuring accuracy in overall patient care.

Our weekend program can be completed in as little as two weeks
All books, supplies, uniform, state license fee, and state application fee are included
Learn the theories behind blood draw best practices and receive hands-on training to perfect venipuncture technique
Prepare for the California state license exam
Prepare for employment opportunities at doctors’ offices, hospitals, blood donor sites, or lab draw stations

Clinical Medical Assistant

Designed for students who want to work directly with patients, our Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) program provides hands-on clinical training. Prepare for an entry-level healthcare career in as little as five months through a flexible hybrid format.

Accelerated 5-month hybrid program; Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Live online classes Monday–Thursday with in-person clinical labs every Friday
Hands-on training in phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, vital signs, specimen collection, and patient care
Includes an 80-hour supervised clinical externship
Eligibility to sit for the nationally recognized CCMA certification exam
Books, supplies, uniforms, equipment, exam preparation, and one CCMA exam attempt included

Our EKG Technician program combines live online instruction with hands-on clinical training. Prepare for an entry-level EKG or cardiac monitoring role in just 3 weeks.

Accelerated 3-week hybrid program with 50 clock hours of training
Live online classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings with in-person clinical labs every Saturday
Hands-on training in 12-lead EKG acquisition, electrode placement, artifact correction, rhythm interpretation, Holter monitoring, and stress test lead placement
Perform a minimum of 10 supervised 12-lead EKGs on live individuals
No prior healthcare experience required and no separate externship needed
Prepare to sit for the NHA Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam

After 30 years of working in the medical field, the two doctors became inspired to form their own institution of higher learning.
