What Does MHCC Offer?

MHCC offers programs that will help you jump-start your medical career and set you up for the financial freedom you seek, all while helping, supporting, and servicing people at the same time.

Medical Assistant Program

As a Medical Assistant, you can expect to be a critical part of a support system accompanied by doctors working behind the scenes of hospitals, clinics, and specialty offices around the world. Our program length is approximately six months and there is no final exam required at its conclusion. After successfully completing your medical assistant courses, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. This will make you eligible to sit for the National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) exam offered by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Following the successful completion of this test, you will become nationally certified as a medical assistant.

The number of medical assistants entering the job market has recently increased but the position is still in high demand. This is due to several factors, including the strengthened emphasis on preventative care, additional administrative tasks imposed by managed care plans, and the growing number of elderly people who require care.

Medical Coding and Billing

As a Medical Coding and Billing specialist, you will act as a liaison between medical offices and insurance providers. By accepting this role, you become a translator for the practice, converting the physician’s medical terminology into codes processed by insurance carriers. This program length is 680 hours total. After completing the Medical Coding & Billing Program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate will give you the credentials needed to apply for work as a medical coding and billing specialist nationally.

At the end of this course, you are equipped with the knowledge to award you an entry-level position as a medical billing clerk or administrative assistant.
